Ron Figueroa BIO

Ron Figueroa started his love for land and nature while growing up involved in agriculture, specifically on raising chickens and producing meat, fruits and vegetables. In 1972, Ron and his family came up with their current business slogan, “No Job Too Small or Too Big Call Mr. Fig” while helping his mother build a house in a gated community. From completing his mother’s house, they started building decks, sea walls and other installation requested by other people. In 1976, Ron decided to put up a nursery business when they moved to Grass Valley, California where they started building koi ponds and had peacocks, swans and ducks. He also developed his current skills in his business by building pathways, retainer walls with pavers, decomposed granite, flagstones and concrete throughout their nursery.

Ron considers having to grow the business along with his sons as his biggest accomplishment, saying “As founder of Figs Landscaping, I still work everyday with lots of help from my boys to this day”
